Dr. Kammerman
Dr. Peter Kammerman was born in Brooklyn “a chubby Jewish boy” who was shy and introverted. He evolved into his own when he realizes that theatre is his passion. At the time, his father owned a string of dress shops named Kamy, hence the name of the practice. Rather than aspiring to be a dress shop owner or an actor, he did what his Jewish mother wanted, “to be a doctor”. From 1978 – 1982, he attended SUNY Binghampton and received a BS in Biology and a BA in Sociology. He then traveled up to Buffalo and attended SUNY Buffalo from 1982-1986. Upon graduation, he moved back to Brooklyn and opened a practice in Staten Island. Not long after he decided the city was no longer his calling – “Green Acres, here we come” – Toms River was his destination. In 1989, Kamy Dental was formed with one employee and Dr. Kammerman. Within one month, another doctor had to be hired. In 1993 the Toms River office was opened and in 1998 we branched down to Manahawkin.
Dr. Kammerman prides himself on his extensive post graduate classes and making his practice the highest, technologically advanced practice in the Northeast. |
